The soft breeze from the window gently brushed her skin, but it was the warmth of the sun peeking through the curtains that stirred her from her sleep. Her eyes fluttered open, but the comfort of her bed made it hard to leave. She lay there for a moment, feeling the urge to just sleep a little longer. That extra five minutes of rest always felt like a small piece of heaven.
The sunlight spilled across the room, casting a golden glow on the walls, but she didn't want to get up just yet. Her body felt heavy with sleep, and the peaceful quiet of the morning made it so tempting to close her eyes again.
